Studies of spin systems with competing interactions by various methods with different time- and space-scales of observation

We have investigated various kinds of random magnets, such as competing spin anisotropy systems and spin glass systems by measuring dc-magnetization, ac-susceptibility, Mössbauer spectrum, neutron scattering intensity and μ+SR time spectrum. By adducing some examples, we have demonstrated that the combination of several methods mentioned above is very useful for understanding the static and dynamical properties of random magnets with competing interactions which are quite novel and have not been known in conventional magnets.
